Job Qualification Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma or GED. Prior work experience as a Logistics Assistant, Inventory Clerk, or Accounting/Administrative Staff in the Retail industry is an advantage. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Must have or be able and willing to secure a Food Handler Certificate from the Environmental Health & Disease Prevention (EHDP) and an Alcoholic Beverage & Tobacco Control (ABTC) License from the ABTC Office. Must be of the legal age to handle sealed tobacco and liquor products. Must be able to drive Company vehicles safely through various work routes. Job requires patience in dealing with clients and coworkers, accepting feedback and customer criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high stressful situations. Must be able to lift at least 25-pound items and carry it for at least 100 yards, with or without using a trolley. Must be able to bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl in awkward positions. Must be able and willing to work shifts, evenings, holidays, and weekends as required by the job.

Supervise the receiving and unloading of shipments of various deliveries. Match carton counts to packing slips, invoices or other documents. Check, scan, and/or enter items into Company’ inventory management system. Inspect boxes for visual damages. Ensure the Back Office team follows up on credit requests with shipping company or vendor. Report any damages, short shipped or delayed product to the Back Office team. Maintain receiving logs. Communicate with vendor regarding mis-shipped or substituted items for return. Verify all items have been scanned into the Point-of-Sales System before sending to departments for processing. Close out all receiving documents on a daily basis. Prepare and submit reports as requested. Notify the Back Office team of any non-approved or unavailable items as per Purchase Orders. Pack and ship product to other work sites upon request. Assist on the entry of all department Purchase Orders into the Company’s inventory management system. Other duties and responsibilities as needed/instructed.
